Then you're probably wondering how you can make money with it. Rest assured, you're not alone. At first, I asked myself the same question. I investigated, tested, sometimes failed... but learned a lot. In this article, I'll tell you everything I wish I'd known when I started out. Making money online isn't magic. It rests on three pillars <i>traffic<\/i>the <i>audience value<\/i> and the\u2019<i>user experience<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>A site with lots of visitors but poorly targeted traffic can bring in little, while a niche site with little traffic but a committed audience can be very profitable. Once you're well-positioned on Google, the traffic almost comes by itself. But certain mistakes can be detrimental to your results. Here are a few that I've made myself (and that I advise you to avoid):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Too many ads right from the start: they drive visitors away<\/li>\n<li>Choosing a niche that's too broad or too vague<\/li>\n<li>Copying other sites without offering real value<\/li>\n<li>Neglect the technical aspect (site speed, responsive, security...)<\/li>\n<li>Not tracking performance (you need to know what works and what doesn't)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep in mind that the web evolves quickly. What works today may not be profitable in two years' time. Be curious, test, adapt.<\/p>\n<p>In short, monetizing a website is both accessible and demanding. It takes time, method and, above all, perseverance. Choose one or two methods suited to your content and audience, then build up step by step. You'll see, the first few euros online are always the most exciting.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quel_type_de_site_est_le_plus_rentable\"><\/span>What type of site is most profitable?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Niche sites specializing in highly sought-after fields such as health, finance or technology are often the most profitable. Why is that?
